As mentioned before, I’ve been dipping my toe in the Keto pool lately. While doing some research, I came across this subscription box, Keto Goodies. They deliver freshly baked Keto “goodies” once a month. Basically, an online bakery. Sounds heavenly right? Well I decided to order a box (aside from monthly, you have the option to buy a one-time box) and see what they had to offer!
Blueberry Muffin – Pretty darn good! The muffins were not big at all, and heated in the microwave with a slab of butter (ghee) on it? Delish! 1 muffin = Calories 230, Total fat 19g, Total carb 21 g, Sugar 3g, Protein 11g
Conversation Heart Cookies – Not my fav. A little dry and just had a weird taste to them. Not horrible though, I mean, I still ate all of them. 2 cookies = Calories 130, Total fat 12g, Total carb 10g, Suagr <1g, Protein 4g
Double Chocolate Chip Cookie – I loved these! Admittedly, they sent 6 cookies (I think?) and they were gone in 5 days. I just couldn’t help myself. 1 cookie = Calories 150, Total fat 14g, Total Carb 22g, Sugar 0g, Protein 4g
Red Velvet Spread – I’ll be honest, I haven’t tried this yet. I’m not quite sure what to put this on either. It sounds interesting though. 2 tbsp = Calories 170, Total fat 14g, Total carb 11g, Sugar 3g, Protein 6g
When on the Keto diet, it’s definitely hard to have sweets and especially baked goods. So for that, I applaud this company and what they are trying to do. Each box is $39.99 and you get a decent amount. However, I don’t think that it’s worth it. They are A TON of recipes you can find on Pinterest and definitely for less amount of money.
Hope you enjoyed this quick review!
